    opalite glass, looks lit from within; single 20 mm bead, silver alloy accent beads and filigree caps
    .
    Shaft with beads average 8” long, with end protector included.
    Hatpins were used extensively in days gone by to keep ladies' hats in place. Now, though some still use them, they are often collected as antiques or just a beautiful accent, displayed in special hatpin holders, flower vases, added to plants, or displayed in vintage hat collections. Use your imagination! Some shorten them and put one or two through a jacket lapel or a loose weave scarf.
