VINTAGE MEXICAN STERLING SILVER DOME HATPIN WITH BRASS TWIST BORDER SIGNED LATON

Description

This is a vintage Mexican sterling silver (marked) dome hatpin with a brass double twist border.  Note: the twist and the stick are not sterling.  It is signed "925 Mexico Laton TS-79."  Laton is listed on page 34 in Bille Hougart's book,
The Little Book of Mexican Silver Trade and Hallmarks
.  The top measures 7/8 inch in diameter and is a little over 1/4 inch high.
The
entire length of the hatpin is almost 8 inches.  This hatpin is in excellent condition: no dents or scratches.  It could use a cleaning, but we leave that decision to the buyer.
