Vintage Crochet Topped Hat Pin Handmade

Description

This is a vintage hat pin with crocheted top.
The top I believe was hand done, and done well.
It is a crocheted piece.
I cannot see how it was added to the pin, I am assuming this was done after market.
I have searched, and could not find anything like it.
The pin measures about 10" in length with the top measuring about 1 7/8" in diameter.
It has some mild discoloring, but is in very good condition with no tears or holes.
