Uncommon Antique Hatpin Cameo Ravishing Venus in Lillian Baker's Book Collectible
No chips, cracks, soldering.
The head (ornament) is in very good shape, solid connection, brass cameo, celluloid, uncommon socket mounting. The stem is straight/strong.
No marks observed. In
The Collector's Encyclopedia of Hatpins and Hatpin Holders
by Lillian Baker, page 123 plate 89.
Overall, very good condition.
Date:  late 1800s to early 1900s.
