    Description

    This is the original poster (also called a "lobby card" or "window card") of the original Broadway production of "The Rothschilds,"  with music by Jerry Bock and lyrics by Sheldon Harnick.  The show opened on Broadway at the Lunt-Fontanne Street Theatre on October 19, 1970, and ran for 507 performances.  The poster is on heavy card stock, with a strip of gold foil along the left side and a plush feel to the red part.  It's in mint condition.   I purchased it myself back in the 1970's directly from Triton Galleries, and have carefully preserved it since that time.  It will be packed in a plastic sleeve, between two foam boards, in a heavy carton with proper padding so it will not bend.  It will be shipped UPS Ground within one business day of purchase.
