Presentation Holy Bible Masonic Edition (1947) with previous owner name (1953)

Description

This is a lovely presentation Masonic edition Holy Bible, King James edition, published by the Masonic History Co in 1947, printed and bound in Great Britain.   It isn't marked, but I think the cover is leather, measuring 5.25x8".  The navy blue cover is a bit darker than it shows in the pictures (the last 4 pictures are the most true representation).  There are some dirty spots on the cover and it is a bit stiff and could use conditioning.  The gold lettering on the cover and spine is in good shape.  There are gorgeous full-color and b/w illustrations throughout the book.  There is writing on the presentation pages, dated 1953.  Features:  presentation pages, pages for Masonic information, maps, prayers, Free Masonry and the Bible, Order of the Eastern Star, Biblical index to Freemasonry, study reference, and more.  A nice book for the Masonic student or historian.
