    Operation Sail 1980, was the return of the great sailing ships, saluting the city of Boston on her 350th anniversary.
    Washington Press,NJ, (Artcraft), produced a cachet for this event. The cachet came in three color varieties, black, blue and green.
    The event took place over six days, May 30 -June 4, 1980. This cover is franked with the John Paul Jones stamp, #1789,
    and hand cancelled on the first day of the event. Scan shows the cachet in black. Indicate on your order, which color you want.
