A thinnly veiled Anti-Masonry Text, this volume contains the bookplate for The Lodge of Ancient Landmarks No 441 in Buffalo, New York, and was added to their collection in March of 1869 (see Image 6).     A very rare volume on the history, logic, and dangers of secret societies, with a section on the Free Masons and what the author perceives as their attempt to "Conspiracy to undermine the grand experiment of self-government in the Americas."
