This auction is for two very old books. They are Volume 1 and Volume 2 of The New and Revised Edition, An Encyclopedia of Freemasonry and it's Kindred Sciences comprising the whole range of arts, sciences and literature as connected with the Insitiution, by Albert G. Mackey, MD, Published by The Masonic History Company, Chicago, New York, London, 1921.
Both books show moderate wear on the outside along with some heavier edge and corner wear. The inside pages are in pretty good shape besides some discoloration/yellowing from age. The Volume 1 book does have one of the first blank pages written on (see pic 5) marked Property of W.L. Bentley Jr, Presented by wife Henrietta Bentley 11-20-21. Volume 2 does have a slight curve to the back part of the book, this can be seen in picture 4, the top book.
