Holy Bible Masonic Edition (1971) Red Letter Color Illus Master Reference

Description

This is a lovely Masonic edition Holy Bible, King James edition, published by Heirloom Bible Publishers, Wichita, Kansas in 1971.  It is a large book measuring 9.5x11.5" and it is nearly 3" thick and weighs 6 pounds.  The blue cover has a 'puffy' feel to it, as the hardcover has a cushion to it.  The gold lettering on the cover is bright and the illustration is beautiful.  There is some edge wear and the corners are a bit dinged, showing a bit of color loss.  The edges of the pages are gold-colored.  There are full-color illustrations throughout the book.  There is some tanning inside the front and back covers from the type of paper used.  No writing inside.  The pages show tanning due to age.  Other features:  a presentation page, pages for Masonic temple information, info about King Solomon's Temple Palace, Free Masonry and the Bible, Order of the Eastern Star, Biblical index to Freemasonry, master reference, red letter, concordance, dictionary of the Bible, guide to the laws of the Bible, and illustrations of the temple.  A nice book for the Masonic student or historian.
