The cover is postmarked  Novenber 19.th 1983 in New York, NY on the day of the event. The caption on the cover reads "The hobby's best known collector, Gary Carter, made his first show appearance at the Manhattan Baseball Card Show sponsored by the World's Largest Hobby Card Dealer, Renata Galasso, Inc. The All-Star backstop appeared both Saturday and Sunday, signing autographs and talking to fans and collectors". This is a beautiful and rare event cover produced by Galasso.
