Quatuor Coronati Lodge 2076 is England’s oldest and most prestigious lodges of research. It limits membership to 40 and its members have included some of the most erudite Masonic scholars in history.
About five or six times a year the lodge hosts lectures on aspects of Masonic history. These are published in a book annually under the title “transactions” of the lodge.
Members of the Quatuor Coronati Correspondence Circle, an auxiliary group, live around the world and receive the books as part of their membership. Members who are Masons also may attend the lodge meetings.
The “transactions” include comments from Masons attending the lectures, often quite detailed summaries or even rebuttals of the material in the main lecture.
They almost always include additional papers on aspects of Masonic research and history.
The 2007 version is volume 120 of the transactions.
