CH-54 Sea Knight: was a tandem-rotor helicopter powered by a twin turbo-shaft engine.
This is one of the USMC aircraft that served in Vietnam 1965-1973, with over 100 shot
down/destroyed on the ground in that conflict. The "Phrog" transported Marines to combat
areas and returned wounded to field hospitals. This aircraft was also used during the
1993 invasion of Iraq. This model of helicopter was retired in 2004.
