CattWalk Original ~ Vintage Victorian Hatpin.
Gorgeous Amber Hatpin .
The beads that made this hatpin are over 75 years old....I've been hoarding them to make a statement necklace for myself except I keep grabbing one by one out of the set to use because I love them :).
The width of this hatpin is 3/4 inch and the length is 8 7/16 inches.

My unique hatpins are inspired from my vintage ornaments I make and sell....the finials I put on my ornaments are very elaborate. The majority of materials used in my hatpins are vintage, averaging 50 years old, which means after my life time they will become antique CattWalk Hatpins.
The vintage stack-able findings I use are
nice and strong with solid gold plating, most of them are findings used in Miriam Haskell Jewelry, even my half pearls are vintage, all rhinestones are Swarovski.
I use jewelers glue which is as tough as nails. I lucked out with my husband being a tool maker, he makes my stainless steel shanks with super sharp points which are buffed and waxed. The proper way to use a hatpin in a hat is NOT to push it in, use a screwing type motion. I know many people purchase these to have pretty bouquets of sparkle in there hatpin holder, if the buyer would like these shortened to use in a hat and want a clutch just message me, I would be happy to shorten it and include either a silver or gold plated clutch free of charge :). The last picture is of a finial from an ornament I've sold showing where my inspiration for hatpins came from.
