After successfully graduating from the Johann-Beautiful-Gymnasium Karlstadt Goletz made a practical training as a graphic artist, as he had already enjoyed drawing claims to during his school years. He brought the cartoon-drawing at that time and chose self-taught in the business as a profession. On August 24, 1990, he produced the first drawing of Diddl Mouse. With 13 postcard designs he finally sought a publisher. When despatch Vertrieb GmbH & Co. KG in Geesthacht came a series of 48 postcards in early 1991 on the market. 1992 followed Folded Cards, Christmas Cards and Calendars
He wrote, among other things, numerous other popular cartoon characters such. Diddlina example, Pimboli, Mimihopps, Ackaturbo, Diddldaddl Blubberpeng, Gallupi, The Frog Brothers, Merksmir Lettermampf, Galupy, Bibombl, Milimits and Tiplitaps. The characters were known primarily by the numerous merchandising and trend products are manufactured and sold in the Diddl Workshop.
