Antique Signet Hatpin Bold Design. Uncommon Initial "Y".
Escutcheon plate hatpin with beautiful gilt setting.
No soldering or glue.
The head (ornament) is in decent shape.  Stem is straight/strong, slight oxidation, solid connection.
Overall, very good condition.
Date:  late 1800s to early 1900s.
Total Hat Pin Length:  8 1/2"    Head width:  1/"  Head length:  3/8".
