ANTIQUE P&T LONG STERLING SILVER 3-D HATPIN HALLMARKS BIRMINGHAM ENGLAND 1911-12

Description

This is a long, handcrafted, antique sterling silver (marked) hatpin with a three-dimensional top.  It is hallmarked with an upright anchor, a lion, and the letter 'm" signifying it is from Birmingham, England; it is sterling silver; and was made in 1911-1912.  It has a maker's mark of P & T.  The top measures 3/4 inch in diameter and is 1 inch high.
The
entire length of the hatpin is almost 13 inches, and it weighs 7.1 grams.  This hatpin is in excellent antique condition: there are two dents in the rounded top, which is not quite straight.  Note: being handcrafted, the swirls are not uniform (see photos).
