1995 Dodge Viper RT/10.
This is the poster car many of us dreamed about.
It runs
extremely well
. Scarily well. It drives well, the clutch and transmission are great. It sounds amazing.It includes a hard top, plexiglass side windows, and the stock rear window.
Any of the unusual fitment and panel gaps are not due to it's title status. The gap above the passenger headlight is perfectly normal for a viper and is part of it's super car weirdness. It has large sections of thermoplastic that tended to have random panel gaps. It is part of having a Viper that was hand built in a very small factory.
It will include the rebuilt Florida title. This means it was previously a salvage title and has already been repaired and passed state inspection. This is also shown on the vehicle history report. The last picture is a composite of two grainy, low resolution pictures I found from an old ad showing how damaged it was before it was rebuilt. I had to see it at it's worst before buying it just like I'm sure you want to.
It was repaired well before I owned it.I have only owned it for about 6 months. When I got it, it had a major power steering leek. I replaced the power steering pump. Now the only fluid leak is a tiny seepage from the oil change bolt crush washer. Replacing the crush washer during the next oil change should remedy that. Driving it makes me feel alive and like I will not stay that way for long and I'm a cautious guy. When I put my foot down in first or second gear, all hell breaks loose.
I have decided I am more of a sports car guy than a super car guy. Now I know. I couldn't go my whole life without knowing.I never registered it in California, therefore there are no back tags due. I am just unwilling to drive it much at all. I was expecting to register it, but I was not expecting it to be as scary powerful as it is. It does not feel like any of the other powerful cars I've driven.
It is kept covered and garaged. Many Vipers have electrical gremlins and need to be on a battery tender to keep a charge. This one does not discharge when not connected to a battery tender.It's A/C does not blow cold, but it is equipped with A/C.
I'll accept reasonable payment options including bank wire transfer, cash on pickup, money order, or cashier's check. No personal checks. I prefer bank wire transfer. That's the way payment was done for my 240z I sold years back on bring a trailer and the payment went well. Also, I bought this Viper via wire transfer over the internet so it tends to work well for buying cars at a distance.
