On April 2nd, 1982 the Argentinian military invaded the British Falkland Islands. The conflict would last over two months.The British prevailed thanks superior tactics and technology, but also in no small part to the fighting spirit of the British people. From a distance: a normal Romney Marsh sheep; but as we look closer a story begins to unfold. We see a determined sheep standing defiantly in the field. It's almost if he can see the upcoming invasion. His fighting spirit symbolized by the bright red and orange flame burning inside him. This is one sheep you don't want to mess with.
On the obverse, Queen Elizabeth surrounded by a halo of sundew orange; along the edge a beautiful palette of blue, red and violet.
