. all of my books are VERY OLD and have 100+ years of wear to varying degrees
good minus condition.... for its age:
boards -
very secure - back cover looks very good - has 1 very small dimple
textblock
- pages are secure, however, it could be better - a few issues, including apx 4 proud sections & separation you see in the last picture
outer joints
-  very good back - 2.5" split front top [ spine edge glued down to prevent further splitting
spine
- ends are pretty good for its age - some wear, top right just a bit wrinkled from being glued down
tips
- good  for its age
inner hinges
-  front one taped [ looks like long ago - blends in with endpapers nicely - back 1 not too bad -  just a bit ugly
pages
- generally very clean with just a few spots - except 1 plate [ shown picture #10] /
there is also 1 shadow from an old newspaper
writing
- no
rips /folds
- no rips that I saw - 2 folds
other:
looks like some of the gilt lettering might have been touched up

and remember -
this book is very old and
may have accumulated bad smells along the way [musty basement/ mildew/ smoke]
- I have found that
dryer sheets in them for a few months makes a world of difference!
some of my books get sold right away so
please consider using this trick before deciding to return it!
My nose doesn't work like it use to
so the old book smell doesn't bother me.
As far as I can tell -this book has a light musty smell.
